A black belt under Heath Pedigo, Jorge Valladares is a native of Nicaragua and grew up in the North Texas area, graduating from Denton Guyer High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served honorably from 2010-2017. Leaving the military to pursue Jiu-Jitsu as a career, he began training in 2013 while living in Denton, Texas. Soon after, Jorge made a commitment to train full-time and followed Heath Pedigo to Mount Vernon, Illinois to join the Pedigo Submission Fighting Team. Jorge lived on the mats at the Daisy Fresh gym and has trained Jiu-Jitsu daily for the past 10 years.

As an original member of the Daisy Fresh Team, Jorge appeared on all three seasons of the "Daisy Fresh: An American Jiu-Jitsu Story" documentary from FloGrappling. Currently, Jorge is the most decorated Nicaraguan Jiu-Jitsu athlete as he has medaled at IBJJF Worlds/Pans at every belt level leading up to black. He has competed and won at the international level all around the world.

Jorge is the Owner/Head Instructor of Daisy Fresh Jiu-Jitsu North Texas. He is the first member of the original "Daisy Fresh Boys" to open an official Pedigo Submission Fighting affiliate school. Jorge is excited to be living out his dream of opening up his own Jiu-Jitsu school back in Texas.
